Rockwool Cloning Cubes are high-quality, pre-formed transplanting cubes. Rockwool is made from the natural rock Basalt and Chalk. It has a remarkable ability to absorb large amounts of water, yet still, retain plenty of oxygen for rapid root development. For hydroponic use, it should be soaked in nutrient solution before use. For soil use, you can omit this step as it will absorb water as it is watered. Rockwool holds 10 to 20 times its weight in water while still retaining plenty of oxygen. Rockwool also makes a great seed starting medium when used with Rapid Rooters and other like products.
